Visual
Passage Planner 2 (VPP2) comes with a global 1:1,000,000
scale map that can be viewed in a variety of ways.
Three different map projections are available with the
click of a button:
- Spherical
- Mercator
- Cartesian
The top screen shot at
left shows the map completely zoomed out in the spherical
projection. The bottom screen shot shows an
extremely zoomed in view of Key West, Florida, USA using
the mercator projection.
The page describing the
Weather Data in VPP2 shows a sample of the Texture Map
display that is available as well.
Of course, all colors
used throughout VPP2 are fully customizable (the default
map colors are shown).
