We spend several days in Beaufort, NC getting supplies and exploring. The first picture below in a small rowboat we carry on the deck of Simmer and put in the water after we have anchored the big boat. We can row this or put a small outboard motor on it. For the next three years this is our "car". The second picture is of the wild ponies on the barrier islands outside of Beaufort and Morehead City NC.
