We finally caught a fish in OZ. We've trolled almost 500 miles without a strike, but this spotted mackerel changed our luck. We also bought a crab trap to catch mud crabs ("muddies"). And we caught two in Hinchinbrook Channel. This one turned into 7 delicious crab cakes! The last picture is a kookaburra, a type of kingfisher with a beautiful song. On Magnetic Island, this one posed for us.
