SIMMER'S BLUE WATER VOYAGE

8-31-98:   We left our marina, on the Toms River, late in the afternoon on a hot hazy day. We motored south to Barnegat inlet and three hours later, anchored in a cove, just inside Barnegat lighthouse. We had successfully completed the first leg of our trip! It was exciting and sad too. It’s hard for us to leave family and friends and this first leg made us think about them even more.
