Back in the Atlantic 1 Feb 02. 16 March 02 - Leave Saldanha Bay, RSA for St. Helena Island (approx. 1650 miles). Arrive 29 Mar 02. 5 April 02 - Leave St. Helena Island for Ascension Island (approx. 700 miles). Arrive 11 Apr 02. 18 Apr 02 - Leave Ascension for Fernando de Noronha, Brazil (approx. 1150 miles). Arrive 28 Apr 02. 7 May 02 - Leave Fernando de Noronha for Tobago (approx 1200 miles). Arrive 21 May 02. May - Nov 02 - Cruise southern Caribbean - Tobago, Trinidad and Grenada. Await the end of Atlantic hurricane season (November). Nov 02 - Sail northward through the Caribbean Islands. Dec 02 - Jan 03 - Cruise Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Feb - Mar 03 - Cruise Turks & Caicos and Bahamas islands. 13 Feb 03 - Crossed our outbound path in the Bahamas. We are official Circumnavigators! 26 Mar 03 - Arrive back home in the USA. Has it really been 4.5 years already????? Apr-May 03 - Sail up the coast to the Chesapeake Bay (Pat's parent's have a house on the Sassafras River). Figure out where we go from there! |
